Bewley’s Hotels go mobile with Bookassist Webapp

Bewley’s Hotel Group has become the first major hotel group in Ireland and the UK to embrace mobile booking technology, using Bookassist’s advanced mobile webapp technology. Bewley’s Hotels in Dublin, Leeds and Manchester are now bookable on iPhone and Android platforms for customers on the go.

When a visitor goes to on their iPhone or Android device, Bookassist’s mobile technology automatically redirects visitors to the mobile webapp version of the hotel group’s website. Visitors to individual websites for each hotel are similarly redirected. The process is seamless and ensures customers get the best experience possible on every platform - whether on desktop or on mobile.

Bookassist’s Director of Client Services for Ireland, Paul Dooley, commented on today’s launch: “Bewley’s Hotels already attract considerable mobile traffic, dominated by iPhone and iPad viewers in recent months. Bewley’s Hotels can avail of hotel description, photo gallery, customer reviews, mapping and routing information as well as a complete booking process in their new webapp system. The system is also multilingual and can feature as many languages as the hotel or hotel group requires to service their customer base.
